Nearly a month ago, Eric and I traveled to San Francisco for a weekend getaway. We didn't really go with a plan -just a desire to explore, eat, and enjoy each other's company. We stayed in the Sunset District, which holds General Store, Outerlands, Trouble Coffee, and Java by the Beach -places that were highly recommended by friends. My favorite part of the trip was walking along the beach to the Sutro Baths and along Land's End Trail. We also did touristy things like walk down Lombard Street, around Fisherman's Wharf, and of course, eat burritos in the Mission District. It was a great trip, but I didn't fall in love with the city. Coming back to Seattle, I really appreciated all of the good food, quirky places, and easy walking, we enjoy and take for granted here. Flat is a state of mind in SF.
